A pet for a day...

Reese found this baby bird in the grass today while she was playing outside. It was so tiny, and still alive! We tried so hard to keep it alive! We mashed up worms and fed it winch a syringe, gave it water and heat. It only lived for 1 day. It was so sad! We prepared the girls by telling them that it was probably going to die, but we would try as hard as we could to save him.
