We had a nice, relaxing memorial weekend! We went to the Pacific Science Center on Sunday. It was fun! Ava was so curious about everything and walked around all over the place! Her favorite part was the water trough. She spent a lot of time there!

Mother's day and swimming!

Saturday we took my Mom out to lunch for mother's day. Afterwards we went swimming. We had so much fun! Ava LOVES to be in the water. We even braved it and dunked her head under! I was so scared! She totally loved it, and kept counting to 3 for us to dunk her again. About 20 minutes in, she was shivering so we got out. My Mom was the photographer. We got a lot of cute pictures!

As always, I can never figure out which pictures to post. There is a lot!

Ava under water!!








This picture totally cracks me up! Ava was SO cold. She was getting mad at me.

Ava's new friend!

We had a busy week! I started watching my friend's 5 year old daughter on Monday. Her name is Senna. She is so cute! Ava is absolutely in love with her!! She follows her EVERYWHERE and wants to do everything that Senna does! It is so fun!! Sometimes (at least 10 times a day) Ava will walk up and say "Ooo hug" and wrap her little arms around Senna's waist. I just love how affectionate Ava is! She smothers my face with kisses all day lately!!

When Senna leaves, Ava talks about her. She will ask out of the blue "Where's Senna?" or she will say "Bye bye Senna". Senna's Mommy picked her up early yesterday for a doctor's appointment. About 2 hours later, Ava said "Bye bye Senna, doctor". I was surprised she remembered that! She is so good with her sentences!

Watching Senna has been a lot of fun! She is a very good little girl. I feel like a little girl again! Playing princess, hot lava, singing songs... it has been great! I think it is good for me to get prepared and get some training for when Ava get's a little older too!

I have been "blog happy" since I got back from California!! Haha. My Mom said there are not enough pictures of me on here, so we did a little photo shoot today! :)

Another beautiful day!

We spent ALL afternoon in the backyard! It was GREAT! We BBQ'd. YUM!

We made a quick trip to the clinic today to followup on Ava's ear infections. We were a little worried because her nose is still running. The doc said her lungs and ears are perfect! We just need to wait for the runny nose to go away!

I am SO happy to be able to have days off with Rafael again! We had so much fun just hanging out today!
