What a great last week! I took most the week off of work! You would think I would of had some time to post on my blog?!
I have had so much fun being home this last week! Rafael and I don't normally have days off together, so it was a lot of fun for us! We made breakfast every morning! Laid on the couch together while Ava napped, it was just perfect! :) We spent a lot of time outside while the weather was nice last week. We planted flowers in our garden out front too!
We got Ava a baby umbrella stroller for her dolls/stuffed animals last week. I put her bunny in it and we went to the park. She would not let go of that stroller for anything!!!! When she was climbing the stairs up to the slide, she was trying to take her stroller up stair by stair with her! I should have told her she couldn't take it up there, but instead, I helped her. She sat down on the slide, and I sat the stroller on her lap.... they went down together. Haha.
Monday I went to help a friend of mine paint her new (old) house! I went over Tuesday night and cleaned out her cabinets. She is doing a lot of renovating.... the house was built in 1916 I believe, so it needed a lot of work!
I turned 30 last Sunday!! WOW!! It actually was not a hard birthday for me at all. I am really happy with my life accomplishments and where my life has taken me in the last 30 years! :) Every experience I have had has made me who I am today, and I am who I am because I have 30 years of experience!
On my Birthday Raf got up with Ava in the morning and let me sleep in! It was sooooo great! When I got up, he made breakfast!! Then Ava and I hung out on the front porch and watched Daddy wash the car. :) Ava napped for over 2 hours in the afternoon. When she got up, we went for a quick shopping trip to the mall. I got a couple shirts and Ava got some new jammies! Then we went to Red Robin for dinner. I love taking Ava there because it's always so busy! Ava is usually pretty entertained by all the commotion! Ava ate much better this time that last time! She actually ate a little bit!
Ava has a shoe infatuation!
Last night she was in her room grabbing her shoes one by one and bringing them out to the living room. She would walk up to us and say "Shoes on". We would put them on, and she would walk around for a little bit. Then she wanted them off so she could "shoes on" the next pair. This lasted through 4 different pairs of shoes! I thought it was so funny!
Ava says "thank you" to everyone about everything! Even when she hands you something, she will say "thank you" for you. Sometimes she throws an "Oh" in there for an "Oh, Thank you!"
Her newest thing is coloring! She can't get enough of it! She asks to "Conor" about 50 times a day... I'm not kidding! Most of the time we sit her up on the barstool and let her color there. When she gets bored, she ends up throwing all the crayons and her coloring books on the floor. Then she asks to "conor" again about 5 minutes after you cleaned it up... *sigh* "Peas, peas, peas, conor, conor"!
She also asks for her books... all day.... every day! "peas, peas, peas, book, book, book". The Please "peas" melts my heart!
Tonight Ava got into her diaper wipes. I went in to see what she was doing and she was wiping everything in her room and saying "Make a mess". It was so funny! I have never heard her say that until tonight. She was wiping up her "make a mess".
Ava is a constant source of smiles for me! She is hilarious! I love her little personality

When we were eating dinner tonight, Ava was coloring at the table. She got down and walked away. We heard a scratching sound and went to go check....
Uh oh!
How can you get mad at that?!
