Hello everyone! Just an update on what we've been up to this last week! We are undecided on a name as of yet. Rafael REALLY likes Ava. It is growing on me a little. I think we will probably need to have 10 names picked out so we can decide which one fits once we see her face!
Starting yesterday, I can feel the baby with my hand without pressing on my stomach. I looked down this morning and watched my stomach move. It was so weird!! She must be getting bigger!!
I've slept like a baby the last two nights! It's been great!! I really haven't had too much trouble sleeping the whole pregnancy, but about a month ago I found out you are not supposed to sleep on your back. Ever since then I keep waking up to make sure I'm not on my back. My hips have started to hurt from staying on my side all night, and that has been waking me up.
My sister Christina kept all the baby clothes from her youngest daughter. She gave everything to us! Rafael and I went through ALL the clothes on Saturday night. There is SO much cute stuff! The baby's new dresser is now packed completley full of clothes!! We put anything that was over a year (12-24 months) in a box. I think we are going to put that stuff in the garage until we're ready for it. We feel SO lucky to have gotten the clothes from her!! She is so sweet!! My favorite outfit of all is probably the most simple. It's a little white onezee that says "grape" on the front and has a little cluster of grapes. It has matching underwear/diaper cover that says "grape" all over it with little clusters of grapes. I don't know why I like that one so much. I just think it is so cute!
We're buying the nursery decor this weekend and are excited start making it look cute! It's so exciting! We also booked a new parents class! It is on June 7th. They are going to teach us what to do when we go into labor, the breathing, all of that. I wonder if it will be like it is on the movies (everyone sitting in a big circle huffing and puffing) lol.
Rafael and I are going to try and go somewhere to get away before the baby comes. We can't afford to go somewhere too crazy, but maybe Eastern Washington for a night at a resort or something. Maybe get some massages and relax before the baby comes.
