Hello!!

Wow we have been busy!!

I spent last Sunday doing engagement pictures! My sister in law's hair dresser just got engaged. She asked about doing an exchange of having me do their engagement photos for a foil! Woo hooo!! It was so much fun and a great experience for me!

Reese can now do a 180 while on her tummy! She spends most of her floor time on her tummy now. She is quite the kicker too! It makes it hard to change her diaper or put clothes on her. She kicks her little legs like crazy all day!!! Neither Rafael or I remember Ava doing that so much. It is so funny!

Ava has been making us laugh as always. She has added "That is AWESOME" to her list of responses. Along with "Are you serious" and "You are really killin me." WOW! What a silly kid. She is so bright! It is so nice to be able to have a conversation with her! I LOVE this age! She has also taken quite an interest in helping Mommy cook. She will get her stool from the bathroom and help. :)



The light from the window was hitting Reese's eyes just right! Check out those blues!! I love them!

Chasing boys!!

Ava LOVES the little boys that live next door. I think the feeling is mutual. One of the little boys (Devon) has brought a flower over for Ava twice now! Today when we got home, they were getting home a the same time. Devon ran up to Ava and gave her a big hug! His Mom tells me that her refers to Ava as his girlfriend. I asked Ava tonight who her boyfriend was and she said "Devon". Oooooh nooo! Daddy is not happy!

A day at the beach!

We went to the beach in Tacoma last weekend! It was the first time we have been to the Tacoma waterfront. Ava was not too impressed, and neither were we. There was no sand, just rocks. Ava wouldn't leave the blanket. She didn't like the rocks. I don't blame her! They hurt your feet! She enjoyed shoveling rocks into her buckets while sitting on the blanket.





Everytime I pick up Reese or Raf hands her to me, she will grab my face or hair and try to put my face in her mouth. I think she must know that Mommy has food!! I am always wiping all the slobber off my face, arms, shoulders... you name it!

SUN!!

We have been blessed with a few nice days this past week! We have spent a lot of time in the back yard. Ava was so excited to get her pool out again!

Storytime!

Ava went to story time at the library last week with her friend Bryce. It was fun! Ava was a handful. She is such a social butterfly! She could not contain herself long enough to sit through a story. There were so many new kids to talk to! She kept getting up and moving to a new spot and trying to talk to everyone around her.
When Daddy got off work I said "Ava, do you want to tell Daddy what happened at the library today?" Ava said "I wasn't listening or sitting down." Daddy said "Oh no, why?" Ava said "Because I am a craaaaazy monkey!!" We got a good laugh out of that. We plan to try story time again this week.
After story time the kids got to play with toys and do a little craft. Ava loved that part, especially the jump ropes! She was pretty good at it!!

Updates!

Hi! It has been awhile since I have updated our blog! We have been busy unpacking, and playing! The weather has not been very good, but we had a nice day today and spent most of the day in the backyard. Tonight there was a knock at the door and it was the little boy from next door. He had picked Ava a flower and wanted to give it to her! It was so cute! She took the flower from him and said "Aww, and gave him a hug"!!!

Things have been going great! Rafael got a well deserved promotion at work! He is getting settled in to his new position. He is really enjoying it! I got sick this last week and went to the doctor. I was feeling awful and had a temp of 102.7. I was miserable! When Rafael got home from work we went to the doctor. The doc said I have Bronchitis and possibly Pneumonia! He thought he could hear some crackling in my lungs. I got some antibiotics, and I am already on the mend! Woo! Luckily Raf, Ava, and Reese have not caught it. I hope they don't!
