Party!

We went out to dinner with some friends for Raf's birthday.  It was a lot of fun, and great to catch up with everyone.  Rafael had a really good time, and was happy to see all his old friends.  We live far away from them so it's been awhile.

Rafael's 30th!!

Rafael turned 30 today!!  We went to Daniels Broiler in Seattle for dinner.  It was soooo good.  Ro and Jackie came to visit from California.  We're going out Friday night with some friends to continue celebrating!! :)  Here are a few pictures from last night.  Love you guys!

Twelve week appointment!!

We had our 12 week appointment today!  We got to hear the heartbeat!!  It was such an amazing feeling!  The doctor said everything sounded great.  He didn't do an ultrasound, but did give us the photo's from our 8 week ultrasound. I posted those below. :)  They typed in "Hi Mom!" and "Hi Dad!" on the photo's.   I thought that was so cute!!

I've gained 3 pounds!!  I can't decide if I'm happy about that.  I know there are more pounds to come, so I'm trying to see it as positive and keep my head up.  I got a prescription for some new prenatal vitamins, and also a prescription for some stronger headache medicine.  I guess it's stronger than Tylenol, but still ok for the baby.  Hopefully that will work. :)

Hello!! I posted some photo's of Lyndsey's baby shower.  It was a blast.  She is SUCH a cute pregnant lady!  It was so good to see everyone!  It has been a long time! We played a few games, one was a contest to see who could drink apple juice out of a bottle fastest!  It was hilarious!

Rafael and I have our 12 week appoinment this Friday!  We are so excited, and hoping to hear the heartbeat!  If we get some ultrasound photo's I will post them.  I have been pretty tired the last couple  days...had a few headaches too. Hi family and friends! We decided to make a blog, so we could keep everyone updated with what is going on in our lives!  We are 11 weeks pregnant on Saturday! :)  We had our first appointment at 8 weeks and the doctor said everything looked perfect!  We got to see the heartbeat.  It was SO exciting!  Our next appointment is next week at 12 weeks.  I am hoping we will get some photos of our growing little one.

I haven't had many unbearable symptoms just occasional nausea and some head aches.  I feel bloated and having a little trouble sleeping.  That's about it.... I feel pretty lucky so far!  I haven't been cooking much because the smells make me feel sick.  Rafael has been great.  He's been such a good sport dealing with my complaining.  He told me he was craving taquitos at 7am the other morning... I think he is having a few sympathy pains.

I am throwing a baby shower for Lyndsey on Saturday!  I'm so excited to see her and her little tummy!  I will post some photos of the party this weekend.  Love you all!!
