Goodbye March!!

Reese is getting better about eating books. She still eats them sometimes, but she will sit down and turn the pages and babble like she is reading. I love it!! She will bring a book to me and turn around and back up and sit on me when she wants a story. :) I remember Ava doing the same thing when she was Reese's age.

Happy Birthday to Mommy!!

What a GREAT day!! When Reese woke up in the morning I brought her in to bed with us. She slept for a little longer. When she woke up, she rolled over and looked at me and said "Mommy". YAY!! It was so cute. She says Ma ma ma all the time, but that was the first time I got Mommy!

Shortly after that, Ava came in and said "Happy Birthday Mommy!!" She was so excited. We all got up and Raf made an AWESOME breakfast of waffles, eggs and bacon. YUM! Ava and Raf made a birthday cake. Then we went roller skating. It was SO much fun! Ava had never been, and it was quite an adventure! At first she kept trying to fall down. She thought it was funny. She actually did pretty good!! Raf and I took turns taking her around. The highlight of the experience for her was the stuffed frog she picked out from the prize counter.

I went and had my hair done early in the evening. While I was gone, Rafael made an awesome dinner! Shrimp alfredo! It was sooooo good! Ava put the candles on my cake and we had a little celebration!

Rafael took the rest of the week off for my bday!! It was absolutely perfect! Thank you SO much for making my birthday so wonderful honey!! I LOVE YOU!!!

Hi!!

Just when I think I will get on and do a quick blog post I see how many pictures I've taken over the past week.  Then I realize I have so much to do!

Ava and Reese are so much fun!  Their newest thing is chasing each other.  It is usually Reese chasing Ava, but they are both laughing and get such a kick out of it.  We love it!  Ava will slow down so Reese can catch up, then take of as soon as Reese gets close.  I love love love to see them play together!  "SO happy to be their Mommy!"

Every day when Daddy gets home from work, both Reese and Ava are waiting at the front door.  As soon as he pulls up Reese says Daaa Teeee!  Daaa daaa daaa Teee!!  It is the cutest thing ever! Reese has also started saying "icky."  She is used to Mommy telling her not to touch something because it is icky. :)  Like screws on the toilet and stuff.

Ava is the sweetest little girl ever!  She is really good at feeding her fish.  She does it all by herself now... even opens the food and everything.  Tonight she was excited and jumped as soon as she opened the fish food.  It all flew out of the container all over her nightstand.  She looked at me and my mouth was wide open.  She immediately said "I'm sorry... I am so sorry, I didn't mean to."  She has such a concerned tone when she says it too.  She broke a little marble turtle we got from Mexico the other day.  She did the same thing.  She brought it to me and said, "Mommy, I am so sorry but I broke your turtle.  Don't be sad. It's ok, we can fix it!"  How can you get upset at that?!?!  She is such a sweet little girl. I love her so much!!

I seriously spend at least an hour a day relishing in how perfect my life is.  I know that sounds terrible, but I am so lucky!  I love absolutely everything about it!  I get to wake up every morning to the most amazing husband and wonderful children!  I get to spend all day with my babies!  When Daddy gets home we hang out and play until bath or bed time.  I just love it.  I would seriously not change a single thing about it!  I am so blessed!!!

Reese LOVES to go outside!  As soon as I let Ava out, Reese will stand at the door and whine.  She's all over the place!  It is so fun to watch her make new discoveries.  She must taste test everything, so I have to watch her really close!  For the first time EVER, Reese squirms and doesn't want to be held!

My Roo!

I LOVE this!! Ava asked to stand in Reese's crib with her. She asked Reese very nicely if she could play with her Roo. Reese was not about to give it up. As soon as she saw it in Ava's hands, she wanted it back!
