Daddy/Daughter dance!

Ava, Reese and Daddy went to the Daddy daughter dance tonight! I got to go help take pictures at the Photo Booth, so I was able to get a little peek at them dancing the night away! <3 nbsp="" p="">

This is a totally random picture for this post, but it happened this morning so I could't resist a picture! Reese left the table at breakfast….like this. I guess her ponies were more hungry than she was!

I love having little girls. It really is magical, and I feel like I get to relive my childhood everyday! Reese found this pouch of crayons today and thought it was like Mommy's little pouch of makeup.

Happy *actual* Birthday Reese!!

So, we had her party last night, but we still celebrated her today! We went out to ice cream….twice!!! We have a little family tradition that you get unlimited access to sprinkles on your birthday. Reese had plenty of those today! Reese's biggest wish for her birthday this year was to go to the mall and ride these little creatures….so we did! :) We played at Wiggleworks, and brought home pizza for lunch.

Reese is 4!! Well, almost. We had her Birthday party a day early! She requested a pink kitty cake. She got spoiled! Our friends the Brooks came over, and we had a small family/Brooks party. Happy Birthday Reese! I was really looking forward to 4, hoping that the tantrums and attitude of age 3 would suddenly go away. I'm not holding my breathe just yet! Reese is SO full of personality. She is so sweet and snuggly. She is gentle and so sweet to her sisters. She asks me about 50 times a day…. "Mommy can I hold you?!" I love it. I don't look forward to the day that she doesn't ask me that anymore. She still is pretty clingy to me. She doesn't like it when I leave and asks for more hugs and kisses about 10 times before I make it out the door. She follows me almost everywhere I go. She has major meltdowns about bedtime, and it's an ongoing struggle for Daddy and I to get her to go to sleep. She comes out of her room 25 times every night, before finally deciding it's time for bed. She is quick to melt down about things before she hears all the details. I have learned though, that when I get down to her level and help her through her moments by telling her to breathe and listen to what Mommy has to say, it helps. She doesn't like to wake up after her afternoon nap. She is grumpy for about 20 minutes after she wakes up. All she wants to do is "Mommy hold you snuggle" until she wakes up. :) She LOVES her Lalaloopsy diaper surprise doll she got for Christmas. She plays with it every single day, and will sit there at the kitchen table for a good hour feeding her baby and changing her diaper. It's so cute! She loves her little sister, and at times I have to tell her to give Valerie some space because Valerie gets irritated with the smothers. Reese LOVES Ava. Ava is her idol, and she would be a happy camper playing with Ava all day if she could. She plays along with all the games Ava wants to play. When Ava is at school I hear a whole lot of "Mommy, I miss Ava. Ava is the best friend ever." It melts my heart!!
