Bike rides to the park!
We have been to the park at least every other day this summer! Now that Raf has a bike and Reese has a bike trailer... we can go for family bike rides. YAY! Ava loves it. We have rode around to a few different parks. Sometimes we just go exploring. It has been so fun!
Ava and Reese love the park by our house. It has great swings and a big open field to run in. Ava has mastered the fire pole this summer, as well as being comfortable with all the climbing apparatuses. Reese can swing on a normal swing now, although Mommy or Daddy don't go too far in case she let's go!
Reese is teething like crazy right now, so her shirts are always covered in drool. :(
I am in love with Reese's dainty pinky. The more I look at old pictures, I realize she has been doing this for a long time!

A surprise visit!
Two days after we got home from Vegas we had a surprise visit from Raf's brother Ro, his wife Jackie, and their baby girl Jojo from California. I knew they were coming, but I had to keep it a secret! It was so hard! I almost slipped SO many times. I took Reese with me and I told Raf we had to meet my Mom to give her shoes back to her that she left at our house. We went to the airport and picked them up.
When we got home, Ro went to the door. Raf was so surprised, it was awesome! It was the first time that Raf and I had met their baby and the first time Jackie has met Reese! We had so much fun while they were here! Unfortunately we couldn't really go anywhere. Our car doesn't legally accommodate 3 car seats and 4 adults. We made it work one day. Jackie and I rode in the trunk. It's a Jeep, so it doesn't really have a trunk, but a back I guess you would call it. We were all curled up back there, it was awesome. We went to the Saturday's market in Puyallup. Raf parked the car in front of someone's house. The old guy was sitting on his doorstep and watched all these bodies pile out of the car. It was hilarious!!
Other than that we just stayed home and hung out! It was so nice to see them and catch up. Ava and Reese had fun with their little cousin. Reese became a little possessive of her toys when Jojo would go for them though! It was kinda funny. I had never seen her do that before! Ava followed Ro around like crazy. That was no surprise. She loves her Uncle Ro! It has been the same story the other times he has come to visit. In the morning... "Where is Uncle Ro," while he's taking a shower... "Where is Uncle Ro?"
Honestly, Raf and I were so tired of taking pictures from the wedding, we didn't pick up the camera until the last day they were here!

Viva Las Vegas!!
Rafael and I made a trip to Las Vegas to photograph our first wedding! It was an adventure! It was really a great experience for us. We struggled a lot with the indoor lighting of the ceremony and reception, but once we hit the outside light, we were golden! In the end we were able to provide them with 400 edited/color corrected (inside icky light fixed) images.
It was SO hard for us to leave our kiddos!! MY goodness. My Mom dropped us off at the airport and I cried. This was the first time we had ever left Reese over night and the only time we ever left Ava over night was when we were at the hospital birthing Reese! It really was nice to spend some alone time with Raf, but we were both excited to come home and be with them again. We were only gone for 36 hours! The four of us are a total team!
We arrived in Vegas on Saturday morning at 10am. We began taking pictures at noon and stopped at 10pm. We were so exhausted by the end of the night!! We went up to our room around 11pm and woke up at 3am ON TOP of the sheets/comforter in the room. We literally just fell over on the bed when we got to our room! :) We got up Sunday and just walked around a bit. We ate a lot and people watched. We only gambled $30 away. I can't stand gambling. It is so depressing!!
We managed to summon the help of some passerby's to snap a couple photos while we were there! Also, one in our hotel room with the tri-pod. YAY!

Summer time!
We finally have sun!! This past week has been in the high 70's-low 80's all week!! We have been outside in the blow up pool every single day! Ava has been in heaven! She loves her pool. Since last summer was over she has asked probably 500 times if we can get her pool out. The pool is great! It comfortably seats all 4 of us! :)
Reese has been talking up a storm lately!! She is saying phrases now! It is so cute! A few weeks back when Daddy came home from work she said "Daddy's home!!!" Rafael was so excited! Some of her phrases and words are

We have a super busy rest of the month ahead of us, so I probably wont have much time to blog! I am thinking I will be playing catch up for July in August!
Lot's of pics from the last week and 1/2. Most outside, but a few other random ones! :)
We ran out of swim diapers. I guess there is a difference between swim diapers and regular diapers. Poor kid. It probably weighs 10 lbs!

Looking at this, I can't believe I left her there to grab my camera! I walked out of the room for only a second. Reese is such a climber!! She got up on the chair and climbed on to the table. Fearless!

Reese has a new thing for ranch dressing! She wont eat with out it. She dips everything in it. Watermelon, grapes, each pea....all of it. Mmmm!
