Ava's frog!
Ava had her first experience with a frog a few days ago. She was SO excited! I tried to put it in her hands, but when I opened my hands, it jumped and so did she. She did better with him in a cup instead. :)

Ava thought he should have a flower.
Swimming!
We went to visit Grandma for lunch on Memorial Day. We decided to take advantage of the pool while we were there. This is the first time in a pool for Reese! She liked it! Of course, Ava had a blast. She has been talking about it ever since. She liked to be in the shallow area where she could walk around. We tried to dunk her a few times and she didn't like that much. Ava's lips turned purple and we decided it was time to get out. She was so cold! Reese however, was just fine. Lips were still nice and pink! Reese has a little more padding on her body to keep her warm than Ava. :)

Reese!
Wow Reese has changed so much since we brought her home from the hospital! I can't believe she is already 3 months old! My little baby is no longer a newborn... :( She is so fun! She can almost roll over from her back to her tummy. She is so close, and has been working a little harder at it lately. She smiles a TON. Every time I walk up to her and talk to her she smiles. I love it! She laughs... it is so precious. She has the cutest little belly laugh too. She coos when you talk to her. I love her so much!
She is getting really good with her hands. If you hold a toy in front of her, she will reach for it. She can hold toys and chew on them.
She is a very content baby. She doesn't fuss about much. She is getting a little more demanding of our constant attention. She is so funny about it. If she is playing on her mat and she gets bored, she yells. Not cries or screams, just this short belly yell. It is so funny. She really loves to watch Ava. If Ava is in the room, Reese is watching her. Ava keeps asking about Reese getting bigger so she can play trains with her. I am so excited to see them play together, and I know it is just around the corner!
She loves her toys! Anything with a smiley face. If she sees it looking back at her, she smiles. It is so cute!
She is on a good schedule now. Similar to Ava's at this age. She naps once in the morning, usually for only about 45 minutes. Then she takes a long 2-3 hour nap in the afternoon. Then a little 15 minute nap every evening around 7pm. She goes to bed at about 10pm, then wakes up to eat around 3 or 4. Then she will get up again at about 6. Sometimes I can get her to go back to sleep after that, but not always!
this is my new favorite picture of Reese! Haha!!

Ava found the bag of baby shoes and was determined to get these on Reese. :)

Idaho!
We took a trip to Southern Idaho to visit my Grandma. She will be 94 years old next month! My Mom and Sister flew to Salt Lake City, rented a car and drove down to Idaho. We decided to make the drive from Washington! There were a few reasons why. One reason is it cost about half as much... the other and probably biggest reason is that Ava ALWAYS gets sick when we fly anywhere! She gets ear infections in both her ears every time. We always find ourselves scrambling to find an emergency clinic while we are out of town. We decided we could avoid the busy airport and yucky germs if we just drove. We left on Friday night at about 8:30pm. We drove all night in shifts and Ava and Reese slept all night! They woke up at about 6am. The remaining 6 hours of drive time was a little crazy with potty stops for Ava, and eating time for Reese. We made it though! On the way home we left a few hours earlier at about 7pm. That made it much easier. We ended up getting home the next morning at 9am! Woohoo!!
It was so fun to see my Grandma. She had not met Ava or Reese yet. It has been 3 years since I have seen her. She is so sweet! Ava and Reese had a great time. Ava kept everyone busy, as always with her crazy energy! She never stops. I got SO many pictures of my Grandma and Reese, but only a few of Ava with Grandma. She wouldn't stop long enough for a picture! Thankfully my sister was there to keep Ava busy. Ava loves her Aunt Na (Anna). Aunt Na took her on lots of walks and managed to wear her out a few times! My Grandma had fun with her Great Grandkids! Reese is the youngest one she has. We took a TON of pictures!
We also got to see my Aunt and cousins for a few hours. They drove up from Salt Lake City while we were there. I havent seen them in 8 or 9 years, so it was great to catch up!! :)
