Stats for Valerie… 14 lbs and 24.5 inches!! She is in the 90th percentile for her height and weight! The doc was pretty happy with how she bounced back after being sick and put on 2.5 pounds since then!
Reese… 26 lbs and 38.5 inches! She is 75th percentile for height, and under the 25th for weight!
Doctors orders? Add BUTTER to everything Reese eats! Poor girl. She is such a skinny kid! It's so funny because she was my chunkiest baby, and now she is the skinniest kid! She has this adorable round tummy on her, but can't even keep 3T pants up around her waist! The doc wasn't too worried, she is healthy, and just seems to have a super metabolism. Something she will LOVE when she gets older, I'm sure.
Valerie got 4 pokes and an oral antibiotic! It was SO sad! Valerie doesn't like medicine in her mouth and chokes on it because she cries! The oral antibiotic they gave her was harder on her than the actual pokes! She only cried during, and just for a second on our way out the door. Tonight she had a little fever and we gave her Tylenol for the first time! Poor monkey!!
No pokes for Reese! I made sure of that before the appointment, and Reese kept telling the nurse and doctor… "No pokes!"
