Hello! It's been so long since I've updated our blog. I have decided I don't like blogspot and am looking for another site to re-do our blog on. I think that's why I've been avoiding writing!
Only 7 weeks to go!!! I don't have a lot of new news to report! My belly is HUGE now! I am having a harder time shaving my legs and putting on socks that's for sure! The funniest thing happened last night!! All day yesterday she would kick me and just leave her little foot (or whatever it was) sticking out. I used a few fingers and pushed it back in because it was really uncomfortable to have this big knot sticking out. Everytime I would push her foot back in she would come back with it even harder!! It was hilarious and the first time I actually felt like I was playing with her. So last night I was on the couch reclined a little bit. All of the sudden my whole stomach got distorted in every direction. My belly was lumpy everywhere!!! It was like she flexed every muscle in her little body at once, and extended all of her limbs! Then it went back to normal. It was the craziest thing I have felt from her so far. I don't know what she was doing in there, but she was having fun!
We've decided on Ava for a name. We're still somewhat undecided on a middle name. So far we are thinking Rosalind or Rosalin. Rafael's Mom's name is Rosario and my Mom's name is Linda. Rosalind or Rosalin would be half of both Grandma's.
We registered at Baby's R' Us on Saturday! It was so fun!! We've been in there a TON of times but never up and down every isle. We got some perfume/dye free detergent and started washing some of the baby clothes we have. It's so fun to see the tiny outfits hanging in the closet!!
Rafael and I went to a childbirth class on June 7th. It was an all day course. I was so exhausted at the end of the day!! It was a great class, but I've all ready forgotten all the breathing techniques they taught. The thing we took away from the class was just feeling more comfortable about what to expect when I go into labor. We had NO idea before, and now we feel a little more comfortable about what is going supposed to happen. I'm pretty sure I'll want an epidural. I would like to wait as long as possible before getting one, but I do think I would rather be comfortable for the second half of labor.
Rafael had his wisdom teeth pulled in May. He was so swollen for about 4 or 5 days. He was so drugged up when we left the dentists office that het was hilarious. We were stuck at a red light and I complained about how long it was taking. Finally the light turned green and I made my turn. About 15 seconds later Rafael said, "Finally it turns green." His reactions were so far delayed it was so funny. He told me shortly after that he felt like he would be ok to drive, " HAHA YAAAA riiiight." He is completely recovered now. :)
I will definitely try to post often as we are getting closer and closer to the end!! Love you guys!!
