We took a trip to Utah to photograph the wedding of Uncle Dan and his new bride, Aubrey. It was so fun, and such a handful at the same time!
It all started at the airport. We dropped our car off at the park and jet and took a shuttle to the airport. Once we made it to the airport, we realized we had left our camera bag in the car at the lot (MAJOR fail, since we were the wedding photographers!) Rafael took a shuttle back to the lot to get it. Once he made it back, we got through security and RAN through the airport to our gate. We looked so ridiculous! 3 kids in tow, suitcases everywhere….running. When we got to our gate, the attendant told us it was too late and we had missed our flight. Luckily, we were able to be on standby for another flight 2 hours later. 2 hours trying to entertain 3 squirmy kiddos is a LONG time! Luckily, we were able to catch the standby flight, but we couldn't sit together. I stayed with Valerie, and Daddy had Ava and Reese on the other side of the plane. Valerie did so good on the flight! She stayed awake the entire time and was so happy!

When we landed, we found Grandma (Grandma was able to catch the first flight on time) and we went to get a rental car. We drove straight from the SLC airport to Idaho to see Great Grandma Fischer. It was such a fun visit! Great Grandma hadn't seen Reese since she was 3 months old, and hadn't met Valerie yet! She is 97 years old! It was a pretty quick visit, since we had to be back in SLC by early evening. I'm so glad we made the trip out to see her though, even if just for a short time!

I was able to get some family photos the day before the wedding! LOVE this family SO much!!
