I am SO sick to my stomach about Ava's "friend" party pictures! We took so many pictures, and somehow they got deleted! I want my precious girl to remember her day, so I will write as much as I recall here! We had her "friend" party here at the house on August 1st. She specially requested that her best friends come, Taleeah and Olan. We had a house full of people! Daddy had some friends from work that came, Uncle Ken and Liz, and Tim and Kitty brought their grandkids! That mixed with Olan's family and Taleeah's Mom and little sister, we had fun!! Ava wanted a my little pony party! We mostly stuck to pink, purple, and teal colors. I made her a rainbow chip cake! We had a my little pony piñata. The kids all took turns hitting the piñata in the backyard. I'm not sure who broke it, but there was lots of candy and frantic kiddos trying to grab it all! Blue lollipops made for some super cute blue smiles from everyone! We bbq'd carne asada and has rice,beans,quesadillas, and all the works! It was so yummy! Ava got so spoiled! She got some my little pony sweats and new ponies from Mommy, Daddy, Reese & Val. Olan's family got her some my little pony pajamas and a pony pop toy. Tim and Kitty got her a bird house and jewelry case that she could paint. Ken and Liz gave her money (which she promptly spent at toys r us on some more ponies). Taleeah got her a reading book and a pretty Barbie. She had so much fun, and we had such a great night making sure our princess felt like a queen!!
On Ava's actual Birthday today, she got a pancake and sprinkles breakfast, and got to be in charge of our schedule and what we ate all day long! We had a little family party after dinner, and Grandpa came! Happy 7th Birthday Ava!! We love you SOOOO much!
