We had such a fun and busy Easter this year! Ava had an egg hunt with her friends Devin and Aaron from next door on Friday. We decorated our eggs on Saturday, and stayed super busy on Sunday! Easter started off with the girls waking up to their Easter baskets. Then we headed to the back yard for an egg hunt! Ava did awesome and found them all! Reese stopped at the first one she came to and opened it up. She found m&m's inside, so she pretty much stopped at that. When she opened the egg, the m&m's fell all over the grass. She spent her time picking them out of the grass and stuffing them in her mouth. YUM! She did wander off a little and find a few more eggs. Ava was SO excited for the egg hunts this year. About a week before Easter she wanted to pretend we were having egg hunts. She brought 4 or 5 little toys outside and had Mommy hide them so she could find them. I guess the training paid off!!
Easter afternoon we headed to our friends Ken and Liz brother's house for Easter festivities. WOW they know how to celebrate! The afternoon was packed with egg dying, plastic egg decorating, a scavenger hunt, Easter egg hunt, and a never ending supply of food! We had so much fun and Ava and Reese were so busy! They were exhausted by the time we got home.
LOTS of pictures!

Juice break!!
This was the end of the scavenger hunt. At the bottom of the 2 liter was a key that opened up one of 6 locks to find the prize. It seriously must have taken so long to put this hunt together! It was packed with puzzles, clues, it was so cool! Mentos experiment!
This picture cracked me up for so many reasons! Major egg placement fail... or tree +1, Ava fail. And check out the kid in the green shirt. He can't even pick up his bucket, it is so full.
